Kim Meadows, the woman who keeps our office running. Kim loves to spend time on the weekend playing with her grandchildren and her favorite part about working at Heritage Dentistry is getting to know all of our great patients. Kim is an avid reader. Her favorite book is Redeeming Love and the last book she read was A Lineage of Grace, both written by Francine Rivers. Shannon joined the practice in September 2017. Travelers Rest has been home for her and her husband, Blake. However, they have lived in several states during Blake's Navy career. Shannon received her dental assistant training in upstate New York and continued her education in Ohio and Georgia. A few specialty areas she has received training for are: teeth whitening, dental implants, fabricating crowns and dentures. Shannon is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendships with each patient. Her caring nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. Her favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients have a healthy smile that they can share with everyone. Shannon and her family all enjoy the outdoors and spending time together along with their 2 dogs, Sammy and Max
Caitlin is from Greenville, South Carolina. She attended The University of South Carolina and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Art Studio. She is excited to be able to apply her art degree to the field of dentistry by color matching, making temporaries and models and clear aligners. Caitlin has completed on the job training since April 2019 and also works for an Oral Surgeon once a week. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys to spend time with her boyfriend, Will, go on long runs, spend time with her niece Navey and nephew Fitz and spend time in Charleston as much as possible.
Regna Walker is a Dental Hygienist at Heritage Dentistry. She was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She earned an Associate Degree in Health Science, majoring in Dental Hygiene from Greenville Technical College in Dec. 1996. She is married to Tim Walker, her high school sweetheart. They have two children, T.J. and Jaden. When Regna is not working hard at Heritage Dentistry, she enjoy's coaching AAU track and field and teaching and mentoring the youth at her church. Regna enjoys all of her patients and loves making them healthy, one smile at a time. Stop by our office and you will be greeted with Regna's favorite saying, "Great Morning" and "Great Afternoon."
Meet Tracy Scruggs, another one of Heritage Dentistry’s registered dental hygienists. With 31 years of clinical experience in the greater Greenville area, Tracy has provided top-notch dental care to a vast array of patients with varying needs. Tracy began working closely with Dr. Hamrick in 2013 at the start of his career, and with his encouragement received her license to administer local anesthesia in 2016. Every day, Tracy strives to provide gentle and comprehensive care to each and every patient by encouraging the conversation between dental health and overall health. When not spending time with her husband and son, Tracy enjoys spending her time alone with a good book and a piece of blueberry pound cake.
Ashley completed the Greenville Tech Dental Hygiene program in 2006. She has experience in a pediatric office as well as in general practice, and feels comfortable with patients of all ages and special needs. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she welcomed her first child and has worked part time ever since. After having their fourth child, Ashley has cut down her hours to be home with her children most of the time. She enjoys "staying in the know" with dentistry and has chosen to work with us a few times a month. She has been with Heritage Dentistry since 2018. In her down time, Ashley enjoys reading, camping, fitness and is a Zumba instructor at a local gym. She loves connecting with her patients and helping in any way that she can.
Jenn is our nurse injector and has years of experience in the healthcare setting. She worked in several different capacities in dentistry before going back to nursing school. Her experience range from OB/Labor and Delivery to Plastic Surgery. She loves injecting Botox to give women (and men!) a natural look that makes them feel years younger! Her warm, caring nature will make you feel relaxed the moment you meet with her for your appointment. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys reading, traveling, and hanging out with her niece and nephews.
